Angel Varner, the Texas mom accused of beating her baby boy to death,

Amidst the tragic demise of her infant son, a mother from Texas, now under the shadow of suspicion, purportedly initiated a GoFundMe campaign to solicit financial assistance.

Amarillo law enforcement authorities divulged that they were summoned to a residence on November 6th, responding to distressing news of a motionless infant named Jackson Knight Blackmon, who was subsequently pronounced deceased.

Following a meticulous examination, law enforcement inferred the necessity for a thorough inquiry. Subsequently, Angel Varner, a 20-year-old mother to the 7-month-old infant, found herself detained and accused of the heinous crime of murder, according to the official release.

Prior to her apprehension, Varner ostensibly commenced a GoFundMe endeavor to amass funds for the burial arrangements, as detailed by ABC 7 News.

"We are endeavoring to collect funds to commemorate the funeral rites, the memorial service, and the cremation of our beloved offspring," purportedly inscribed Varner, as relayed by ABC 7.

A GoFundMe campaign, ostensibly initiated by a mother named Angel Lynn Marine Varner, now facing charges of homicide, has since been expunged. GoFundMe, in a communication with PEOPLE, affirmed the cessation of the fundraising initiative.

"The fundraising initiative has been rescinded from the platform, and all benefactors have been duly reimbursed," stated the spokesperson for GoFundMe. "The beneficiary did not receive any portion of the raised funds."

Drawing from legal documents, both ABC 7 News and News Channel 10 assert that the infant's demise resulted from severe blunt force trauma.

Presently confined within the confines of Potter County Jail, Varner's legal stance remains uncertain, with no clarity on whether she has entered a plea or sought legal representation.
