Missing Sean Sidi

DISAPPEARANCE DETAILS

Sean Sidi ventured to the French American International School, nestled on 150 Oak Street in San Francisco, to pay a visit to a former mentor on the early morning of May 21, 2013.

Before his departure, he conversed with his mother, conveying his intention to retrieve a tape from the school.

Subsequently, the teacher affirmed his presence during the visit, while surveillance footage captured Sean's departure from the premises at precisely 11:38 a.m., his destination veiled in mystery.

At 1:30 p.m., Sean reached out to his father, disclosing his plan to board a bus bound for Golden State Park. However, communication ceased abruptly at 2:00 p.m. as his phone succumbed to silence, his whereabouts becoming an enigma thereafter.

Not prone to prolonged absences, Sean typically maintained regular correspondence with his family regarding his movements.

A week and a half post-disappearance, authorities managed to trace the last known location of Sean's phone to the eastern expanse of Golden Gate Park. Despite an extensive search effort, no trace of Sean emerged.

Half a year prior to his vanishing, Sean suffered a traumatic head injury from an inadvertent fall, rendering him medically fragile and dependent on medication. Yet, his fate remains shrouded in ambiguity.

Sean, an individual of Asian and Caucasian descent, graced the world on April 16, 1994. Possessing a mane of dark brown hair and deep brown eyes, he stands at a height of 5’5” and weighs approximately 120 pounds.

Adorned with braces upon his teeth, a faint mustache adorning his upper lip, and a pierced left ear, Sean bears a surgical scar tracing from his forehead to the rear of his cranium. His right eye exhibits a slight droop, adding a distinctive feature to his countenance.

Clad in a black and gray hooded jacket by North Face, complemented by blue denim attire, and donning black canvas shoes adorned with white rubber trim, Sean sported a black splint encasing his left arm and wrist at the time of his disappearance.

Sean vanished from the streets of San Francisco on May 21, 2013, following a visit to a former educator at the 100 block of Oak Street around 11:40 a.m. Subsequent communication with his father indicated his intention to embark on a bus journey to the park, his voice fading into silence at 2:00 p.m., never to be heard from again.

His familial vigilance accentuates the anomaly of his disappearance, compounded by his precarious state of health.

Should you possess any information pertinent to the whereabouts of Sean Sidi, please direct your communication to the San Francisco Police Department at (415) 553-1071.
