MOM, DAD, AND 5-YEAR-OLD SON FOUND STABBED TO DEATH IN BRONX APARTMENT BUILDING

A family comprising a couple and their five-year-old progeny were discovered lifeless within a residential edifice in the Bronx, New York, on a Sunday morning.

The New York Police Department promptly arrived at the premises located at 674 E. 136th Street around 6:40 a.m. on November 26th, whereupon they encountered the lifeless form of Jonathan Rivera, aged 37, within the corridor of the ground floor.

Regrettably, it was ascertained that he had succumbed to fatal stab wounds, as confirmed by law enforcement.

Subsequently, authorities uncovered the bodies of Hanoi Peralta, aged 38, and her five-year-old son, Kayden Rivera, within their dwelling on the first floor. Both individuals had tragically suffered mortal stab wounds.

Evidence of forced entry was discerned upon inspection of the entryway, according to police reports.

A nearby resident, Fernando Cruz, relayed to FOX5 that he had discerned "a commotion or altercation occurring in the vicinity."

"I distinctly recall hearing such, followed by the plaintive cries of a woman," remarked Cruz.

Acquaintances of the deceased attested to their amiable disposition.

"He was an affable lad," remarked neighbor Larry Wesley to PIX11 News, in reference to Kayden Rivera. "He would invariably offer greetings. The family emanated warmth, and harmony prevailed amongst all."

"I would invariably encounter her at approximately 7 or 7:30 in the morning, escorting her son to school, a routine they adhered to diligently," remarked Dahan Ali, proprietor of a local deli, to WABC. "Charming child, truly charming—merely two days prior, he accepted a cookie from me. When queried about his father's whereabouts, he responded, 'Outside.'"

Jonathan Rivera was reportedly employed in maintenance at a nearby daycare, as reported by FOX5.

Presently, no individuals have been apprehended as suspects.

In a heartrending turn of events, a five-year-old boy and his parents were discovered deceased within their Bronx apartment, prompting a thorough investigation by law enforcement into this triple homicide.

The victims, identified as Jonathan Rivera, 38, Hanoi Peralta, 33, and their son Kayden Rivera, aged 5, were found lifeless within their residence situated at 674 East 136th Street in Mott Haven.

Authorities responded to an emergency call at 6:40 a.m. on Sunday, uncovering Mr. Rivera in the hallway, bearing visible signs of violence, including multiple stab wounds. Subsequently, Ms. Peralta and Kayden were discovered within their first-floor apartment, also bearing fatal injuries from stabbing.

All three individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene.

In the aftermath of this gruesome discovery, the former superintendent of the building fondly recollected his interactions with Kayden during his daily routines.

"I engaged with him daily," shared Jose Torres. "He was my cherished companion there."

Neighboring resident Paulette Williams recounted overhearing discussions about loud altercations preceding the tragic events, followed by an eerie silence.

Torres, aged 60, expressed his belief that the family had relocated to the building approximately five years prior.

"They were always together," he remarked. "I never encountered any issues with any of them."

Dahan Ali, who owns a deli within the building and was acquainted with all the victims, reflected, "I would frequently encounter her at 7 or 7:30 in the morning, accompanying her son to school, a ritual they faithfully observed." Dahan continued, "Adorable child, truly adorable—I saw him just the day before yesterday; he accepted a cookie from me. When asked about his father's whereabouts, he replied, 'He's outside.'"

The medical examiner has officially ruled the deaths as homicides.

As the investigation unfolds, no suspects or motives have yet been identified.
